Your Lieutenant Exam Success Road Map

Congratulations on taking the first step toward your promotion to Lieutenant. This Road Map is designed to show you how to get the most out of the 10-1 Academy Lt. Exam Prep Program, so you can study with focus, build confidence, and walk into the exam ready to succeed.

Timing Matters

Part I (Written Exam): Only weeks away — but remember, it is multiple-choice. With your current experience as a sergeant, you already have the foundation you need to succeed. If you have already begun studying, either on your own or with a study group (and you should have), passing Part I is a given.

Part II (Assessment/Oral Exam): Proposed for some time after mid-January 2026, which means you will have five to six months to prepare following Part I.
